Anita Burroughs is Vice President of Operations and Marketing for the Burroughs Healthcare Consulting Network. She is responsible for overseeing all operational activities including: marketing, contracting, client relationships, finance, and organizational development.
Anita has over thirty years in a wide array of business experiences that have included running a successful catering company in northern New Hampshire. The business focused on intimate events including small weddings, parties, and home entertainment.
She also started and managed a mail-order jewelry company which focused on high-quality animal theme jewelry. Anita has worked in the high-tech industry for fifteen years in a marketing capacity. She was involved in developing marketing strategies, market research, direct mail and in public relations.
Anita Burroughs’ Charity Work
Anita has been active in community affairs since moving to the White Mountains almost twenty years ago. She is one of the founding board members of the Conway Area Humane Society (CAHS). Anita served as board chair for six years and on the organization’s board for eleven years.
She spearheaded a number of successful fund-raising campaigns for CAHS during these years through grant writing, donor development, and innovative marketing projects. Anita devised a social media plan for animal shelters in New Hampshire to raise funds for every major shelter in the state. Supporters raised these funds through the organization NH Pet Save.
Anita currently serves on the board of directors for Starting Point, which provides services for the victims of domestic and sexual violence in Conway New Hampshire.
Anita Burroughs has a B.A. from Brandeis University and an MBA from Boston College.
